Does anyone know of a way to convert WMV files into MPEG's? Have just moved over to a Mac and loads of stuff on my old machine is in WMV format (videos, interviews, live performances etc).
I've downloaded this thing called Flip4Mac which lets my MAC play the files, but they're slow and a bit jerky. Is there a way to directly convert WMV to MPEG? (without buying some expensive converter programme I mean).
Cheers very much for any and all help - this is proper annoying!

isquint is free and will convert to mp4, as wmv is already compressed, mp4 should be similar in size, rather than mpeg
