This being my hometown, i'm hoping that Ottawa lets out 14 years of FINALLY right at that stage. It will be mammoth and I know the Zaphods and Barrymores termites will come out of the woodwork for this one!
Only sad face about the whole thing... nothing off SOTSOG.

well lets hear it. was it as lame as a sens game? ie suits and conservatives and i.t. techies who wouldn't know passion for sports/ good music if an ergonomically designed keyboard hit them in the face?

It was fantastic, and brilliant.
Now, I had second row center seats (I was sitting right next to some dumbass that told Ryan Adams to play "Summer of 69"!! What an asshole), so that made the concert that much more exciting....
...but when I looked around, the place looked packed. It didn't look like there were only 7,000 people there. It looked full...
That being said Ottawa is a shitty city to see a concert. Everyone is so reserved (when they even bother to show up). No wonder bands don't like playing there.

Gig was headblowing good., brilliant, steller ect ect ect....but what I found odd/interesting was the amount of early 20 something bobbies walking around like it was an Usher concert. Not that I'm complaining mind you but considering that the lads are pretty much old geezers (myself included) I found that peculiar in a rather good way.
Also, I found the crowd fucking bang on. They weren't like NYC in 05' for the DBTT tour where you could walk through the corridors and just start singing random tunes to people only to have them pick it up and sing it right back at you...that was unbelievable. I mean, what if the crowd sprouted wings, flew around the arena and exploded at various points during Champagne Supernova? Would that make it a more 'rocking group'? Or give O-town that Peterbourough street cred it so painfully lacks? Methinks I smell a leafie fan...
Don't believe the truth indeed.
Considering that this was the first time Oasis ever played there I'll give that crowd a full throttle thumbs up.
