All you doubters of the song or oasis or liam can watch this version of the shock on youtube and go fuck yourselves.
This tune fuckin leaves the rest of the rock world in a distant 2nd. Liam is on fire. If you don't like watchin this then I suggest u grab a keane cd.
Look for oasis live in vancouver on youtube. The shock of the lightning. 10/10.

He sounds decent. The whole voice debate is a pain in the arse, seriously. The real concern isn't even the sound of his voice anyway, it's his apparent shortness of breath.
You used to have "wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllla, what's the story morning glory" with a single breath taken. Now it's like 25 breaths and premature endings to words just to sing "come in, come out, come in, come out, tonight"

he does indeed sound much better at times in the vancouver show. and he's still an awesome force to watch on stage as the shock video proves. as for the shortness of breath, perhaps it's cos he only recently quit smoking? dunno how long lungs need to reacquaint themselves, but that's my guess.

Now it's like 25 breaths and premature endings to words just to sing "come in, come out, come in, come out, tonight" I do get what your saying, but singing in front of a mic you need a few different things.. You need to have some degree of fitness to be pumping hot air into the crowd constantly, you need to lay off the booze, it just makes your voice shakey and you need practice. Liam certainly sounds like he's fitter, making an effort but he's just short of practice enough to get those lungs pumping the air out. It can clearly be heard with the difference between Seattle and Vancouver. Seattle his voice tone is back to the mid-90's Liam we all know, but on a lot of songs he cuts the notes short because of shortness of breath. That's not down to a fact of life, thats just fitness and singing practice and he showed a night later he can do better. Give it a few gigs and we'll see. However the biggest test is does his voice go back to nasal shit after a month of gigs, i sincerely hope not, i've got to wait until the end of October!

The last line of the song when he walks away from the mic is top. Nobody has the presence liam has. Nobody.

looks like he's been talking to a vocal coach. Try to sing come in come out come in come out tonight like liam does with the sneer and tilting your head back and singing really loud, without taking those breaths. It puts an enourmous strain on my vocal chords, and that's just one line of one song. Imagine doing that for 2 straight hours. Sure he cuts some of the lines short, but if he can preserve his voice like that then it;s fine by me

It's hard to stand still and look that cool.
The voice sounds much better depending on the audio qualitys, it's weird. Bet it sounds ace live though.
