Nothings been annoucned, but I'd love to see Kasabian, The Coral, The Verve or The Manci Street Preachers supporting.

The Verve won't support Oasis in the UK. They have their own tour going on anyway, but beyond that, The Verve are too big to support even Oasis.
A double-headlining act in the States...now that'd be something w/ The Verve and Oasis! If they were willing to do it with The Black Crowes I'm sure they'd love to do it with The Verve.
Oasis have been strangely silent about The Verve reunion, or maybe no one has asked Liam or Noel? They love The Verve so I figured they'd be talking about how great it is The Verve are back between dissing Ronson and Amy Winehouse.

Would love to see The Verve....they could open here for Oasis...they just aren't that popular in America.

I can't see it being Primal Scream or The Verve, as much as I would like it. I dunno, they just seem too 'big' a band to be supporting to me. Manics supported Foo Fighters on their gig, so they might do it. Kasabian did it for the DBTT tour, but they'll be touring themselves (is there much time difference from the Oasis album release to their new album release?). The Coral might be the best option. Their liked by Oasis, and could do with the publicity.

slacks, good point, though I don't know how Ashcroft & Co. will feel about being just an opening act. They've already played some dates here in the spring and McCabe said recently they were planning on announcing something in September for more US dates. Something tells me even if they are relegated to club dates in the US, they'd rather do that than be an opening act for Oasis. I'm surprised Manics would support anyone here, though when was the last time they even toured the States...? I don't really keep up with them but I love their music. Would really be something to hear Manics doing 4st 7lb and Ifwhiteamericatoldhtetruthforonedayitsworldwouldfallapart, then have Oasis come on and do TSOTL...might not be a good fit...

They hardly play that kind of music now. If anything its more towards Oasis rock sound than that heavier, depressing sound (if you get what I mean).

The Manics opening for Oasis in the States would be the greatest tour ever. I've been dying for the Manics to do some US shows. I don't think they've been here in 10+ years at least
