Whatever it takes, production-wise, to get rid of that anti-smoking advert snarl of Liam's is well worth it. Thank fuck it seems to have been produced right out of TSOTL.

His voice is actually overdriven a bit in the song which kinda equalizes the bass, which in effect takes away that snarl. I wanna wait til I hear the whole album to comment on where his voice is now. He still snarls on the Ain't Got Nothing demo so we'll find out soon enough

I think fuck is getting far too much thanks, and not enough is going to Liam. I think he may just be singing better.

I really wouldn't get all that excited if I were you. When Lyla came out, everyone was going nuts with how great Liam sounded. Well, Lyla is definitely Liam's best vocals on DBTT. But as the album went on, Liam's voice was pretty inconsistent.
I'm not saying that his voice will be inconsistent or shit on DOYS. But I wouldn't judge his voice based on one song; especially the lead single . . .

But I wouldn't judge his voice based on one song; especially the lead single . . . I thought GGTIA was his best DBTT vocal. But you're right, we shouldn't rush to judge.
