To Noel Gallagher:
Sir, you are the greatest songwriter of my generation. Bar None. Yet you have become a whimp. Why would you let Liam write 3 songs on each of the last 3 records? Really, of all of his songs, only Songbird and Born are classics? HC and now DOYS have weak 1/2 halfs....STOP. Liam can work with Johnny Marr and do a solo album. Do not waste the precious space on an Oasis CD...FFS.
And while you are at it, please stop re writing Force of Nature?

I am not saying that Liam wont write goods tunes...but Noel is just a god. Its like letting Ringo write songs for The Beatles. Ummm....or Mike Joyce writing tunes for The Smiths. Or Andrew Ridgley writing songs for Wham!

And while you are at it, please stop re writing Force of Nature? And while you're at it, please stop basing your silly comments on other people's opinions before you've even heard the bloody thing for yourself. For fucks sake.

I know what you mean, but Noel's songs have gotten worse over the years. I wouldn't mind if he still wrote 12 songs for an album if he could still shoot out tunes from the DM/WTSMG/BHN days, but he can't. I'd rather listen to decent songs from all the members as opposed to 6 decent Noel songs and 6 shit Noel songs.

Um...It is fun to freak out thinking that Force of Nature Part 2 is on the record. Because that means we have to wait 3 more years in the hope Oasis will write the next DM

Why don't you just shut the fuck up? You're just like all the other fuckers bitching about Noel not writing enough songs. Wait for the goddamn album, and see how the songs are.
.......fuck.

Agree Part 3.
And another annoying thing: Liam's love for the short ShAT Song. Songbird, Meaning of Soul and Aint Got NOthin. Can someone, please teach him how to tune a riff into a song? All of his songs are these riffs that have potential...but end before they grow, leaving the listenner wondering if he is retarded.

Songbird is great...for a Liam solo record. As an Oasis single it is an embarassment.

Listen, we've already got Robohump around here pouring scorn on everything that isn't written by Noel. We don't need another one of you doing it as well.
A bit of positivity wouldn't go amiss, mate.

Well after Noel's DBTT output... Id be worried as hell about him writing a whole albums worth of songs.
Mucky Fingers is possibly the worst Oasis song to be released on an album. Lyla, while a good tune, is pretty generic. TIOBI, while great, is amazingly overrated. Part of the Queue really isnt anything special either, sounds like a lost track from HC. And then theres Let There Be Love, which kinda falls flat as an Oasis finale/anthem. (Its no Champagne Supernova, AATW, Slide Away, or even Roll It Over)
And then his 3 non-album tracks were nothing to write home about either. Sitting Here in Silence is boring... would never have even been considered for The Masterplan back in the day. Then there's Can You Hear It Now, which I feel the same about. And then LDSMD, which is a good song, but nothing mind-blowing, also reminded me of HC alot.
It seems as though nearly everyone agrees that Stop the Clocks wasnt the epic mindblower that it was made out to be. Maybe the final version would be sweet, but the demo was kinda dissappointing in my opinion. I definitely wouldnt consider it a top 10 Oasis track. I liked Record Machine better, Id consider it the best Oasis "anthem" in a long time.
In short: Noel's DBTT (or HC for that matter) output really didnt do a ton for me. I really wouldnt like a whole album of that. I think Liam and Andy had the best album tracks on DBTT, and Gem and Liam had the best bsides. Just my opinion though.

Numbness on the brain... numbness on the brain... numbness on the brain... over and over for 7 minutes??? FUCK!!! That song is horrible.

Who gives a fuck what critics think? Is personal taste* irrelevant?
And are you trying to make us all fucking miserable on here or what?
*actually, I'm not too keen on Numbness either. But the album on the whole? Top.
