They didn't plan it, why would they 'leak' both Falling Down and SOTL within two days time? If they wanted to build up anticipation, they would've put at least two weeks between the releases. For fucks sake. TSOTL is not going to be leaked. Its radio airdate is August 15th. Leak = unauthorized release. This was obviously planned. The release is too obvious. Its labeled "Falling Down - single" for one. For two, it was released at 12:01am on 8/14 in Japan, England, and Australia when it hit that time locally. If it was a fuck up (like Germany with DBTT) it would be offline already. It would not be labeled "Falling Down - single". It doesnt mean single like TSOTL, it means single as in single (1) track. This is a regular occurring thing these days, putting tracks out like this, Coldplay did it with Viva La Vida (the song) when Violet Hill radio hit. The Verve did it just this week with Judas. TSOTL is not out until late September, but after Friday people will log on looking for it and this will incur buys for Falling Down and get more interest into the album. You're a fucking fool if you think this wasn't planned. That's why I put 'Leak' between apostrophes. But I'm not even going into discussion with you, why are you so offensive? If you think it's 'cool' to call me names, think again

TSOTL will not be on iTunes on Friday, only radio will have it. You're a fucking fool if you think this wasn't planned. That still doesnt explain why they didnt mention it at all. It seems like they would have wanted the release of Falling Down to garner some media buzz... but instead, they literally released it when noone expected it. From a marketing stand point, thats fucking stupid. So I dont see how people would be ''fucking fools'' for thinking that it was a mess up Not saying you're totally wrong, just saying that it really doesnt make much sense.

Exactly what I said was the case. iTunes is schedule to release things automatically. Theres not a drone in an office at midnight to release things. Whoever coded it did it wrong, but everything is set up right now. Preorder the album, get the tune, theres also stories published about it on gigwise and its on Inet. Its exactly what Coldplay did. Preorder off of iTunes get an album track (not the current single) immediately. They gave Viva la Vida (the song) the day Violet Hill hit radio when they started their iTunes preorder push.
