I don't think it was a mistake... Australia has it too... and those are two countries that frequently feature unique import versions of singles etc...

Ah, it was scheduled for release tomorrow anyway.
If it was a fuck up, I'd say it was a fairly small one.

...it's getting released on the 15th everywhere I guess... as the clock hits 12am... weird that it was completely unannounced.

Probably supposed to be the released remix BSide to "Shock of the Lightning" instead of the album version? Who knows?

Why was it due to be released tomorrow? First single in Japan? It was released on the 14th in Japan. They're like 8 hours ahead of the UK and its on UK itunes now as well. Not a leak. This was planned.

This was planned. So is Oasis slowly planning this type of thing for every song every few days? I wanna kno most of the DOYS songs before I see them September 7th.

I really really doubt that. A lot of times bands will put out an album track or two early to build anticipation. This screams iTunes only single. Coldplay did something similar as well they put out Viva La Vida (the song) as a come on to preorder the album, while that turned out to be a single anyway, Violet Hill was the lead.
I think its just purely to build anticipation. Its clearly not a fuck up because its on UK as well and is listed as "Falling Down single", probably because TSOTL wont be on there. Only the radio play date is the 15th and people will be looking for it and not find it, so give them something else to tide them over.

Japan is about 12 hours ahead and the release is automatic.. if it was in iTunes from my region that time no doubt I would've bought it.. so as everyone else. They're just too stupid..

I dont think its a fuck up or Japan fucked up and everything changed. I think the date was set for the 14th or it got bumped last minute, because its on the UK site as well. Germany fucked up DBTT.
The US will likely never get this either. Simply because Japan is in the same boat with the back catalogue on iTunes (they only have STC, LDSMD and Wibbling Rivalry) yet they got Falling Down.

Noel is on Chris Moyles Radio 1 show tomorrow, just after the 8 AM news bulletin. Hopefully someone should ask him, either fat arsed Moyles and people sending in questions via text and e-mail. We Should get Noel's firm opinion was the release of Falling Down planned or a mistake? and do they plan to release any of the other songs in this manner before DOYS official physical release?

They didn't plan it, why would they 'leak' both Falling Down and SOTL within two days time? If they wanted to build up anticipation, they would've put at least two weeks between the releases.

For fucks sake. TSOTL is not going to be leaked. Its radio airdate is August 15th. Leak = unauthorized release. This was obviously planned. The release is too obvious. Its labeled "Falling Down - single" for one. For two, it was released at 12:01am on 8/14 on the iTunes stores for Japan, England, and Australia when it hit that time locally in each location. If it was a fuck up (like Germany with DBTT) it would be offline already. It would not be labeled "Falling Down - single". It doesnt mean single like TSOTL, it means single as in single (1) track. This is a regular occurring thing these days, putting tracks out like this, Coldplay did it with Viva La Vida (the song) when Violet Hill hit radio. The Verve did it just this week with Judas. They release 1 track from the album (thats not on the radio) to build interest for the album. TSOTL is not out until late September, but after Friday people will log on looking for it and this will incur buys for Falling Down and get more interest into the album. TSOTL will not be on iTunes on Friday, only radio will have it. You're a fucking fool if you think this wasn't planned.
