Wenger fucked up with his team selection again.
Nasri and Arshavin on the bench? Really?
Song, who has been in good form, on the bench? Really?
Diaby had a shocking game, but wasn't replaced.
Fabianski had a shocker too, not AW's fault this one, mind. WTF was he playing at?
Hardly any shots on goal. FFS. Neither team played well, it was overall pretty even but Chelsea just about edged it.
My friend summed it up best: "What annoys me is not that we lost, but that it was so avoidable."

you lost cos your goalkeeper was shit i thought you were the better team, i don't think team selection was that big a problem.

I would've brought Arshavin on earlier, and played Song, but the team we put out matched Chelsea pretty well except for two areas; the keeper made some crucial errors and the back four were not up to scratch. Neither of which you can really blame Wenger for; Fabianski is young and unfortunately young keepers will make cock ups like that (hopefully he will learn) and our defence has been utterly decimated by injuries. The likes of Drogba were always going to be tough to handle with such a make-shift back four. As usual L4E is jumping on the Blame Wenger Bandwagon.

watching the arsenal vs. liverpool game backing arsenal (it's in chelsea's best interests) and thought the game was a perfect example of the pros and cons of pushing forward and playing offensively. it was a terrific match (at 3-2 i thought arsenal would hold out for a 4-3) and honestly as good as arshavin is in terms of dribbling shooting passing etc. i think the attributes he has that helped him on his way to the 4 goal haul were his awareness, positional sense and timing. for a team down arguably two of their best offensive weapons, arshavin was the key.. if arsenal continue with this form and perhaps add some much-needed steel then they could be easy title contenders come next year.

Epic epic game. Arshavin - what a man, what a mighty good man. Silvestre is right donkey though, AW should be furious at his back 4, horrid stuff.

Silvestre is right donkey though. He's no worse than the rest of your so-called 'defence'. Great result tonight. I just hope they don't pull that shit at Old Trafford.

Sagna didn't look like he'd recovered from his virus. Silvestre is shit - quite clear why Man U sold him on. Gibbs is 11 years old. We looked great going forward, but fuck me we cannot defend at the moment.

Come on Arsene, Know! For some reason Arsenal didn't preform last week, and I don't know why - our form and performances recently have been pretty good. With Arsenal being at home, and the players know everything is on the line, I'm sure we'll get a good performance. Now, will a good performance give the result needed? That's yet to be seen. I would hate us to win 2-1 but go out on Away Goals. That would hurt. Because of that away goal, then, it's VITAL we don't concede - no way in hell will we score 3+ against this Utd team. 1-0 and send it to Extra-Time/Penalties or 2-0 win is our best chance to go through 3-1 is asking too much. Need a clean sheet. If our defense is on form, we have a chance....

The referee isn't the reason you're not winning. It's your inability to penetrate United's defense. Not one fucking chance in 135 minutes

I'm not blaming the ref for the current score....Gibbs, Almunia, Adebayor, and V Persie can fuck off as we stand in the first half. Especially Adebayor, that fucking asshole better be gone next season, I've had enough of his incompetence, laziness, and willingness to wander offside.
But there's still no denying this ref hasn't been fair. He, too, can fuck off.

Poor Gibbs, he's actually a god player and has a bright future ahead, he was just unlucky in that particular moment
