The second single from the next OASIS album will be LIAM GALLAGHER’s ode to JOHN LENNON called I’m Outta Time.
It’s been picked to be the second release from forthcoming CD Dig Out Your Soul.
Liam has been making a splash in sleepy Cotswolds village Bourton-on-the-Water while making the promo for the song.
Part of the filming involved him wading through a river strapped to a parachute. Liam’s ballad is obviously so moving only getting waist-deep in cold water would do it justice.
He was overheard saying: “I wish I hadn’t written this music now.”
Even NOEL has been raving about Liam’s songwriting contributions on the new album and has put his money where his mouth is by giving him the second single slot.
The first single from the collection will be The Shock Of The Lightning, out on September 29.

that would be great if they release it only a month after the album, it'll keep people interested and sales could be higher. I wonder if they'll release a christmas single?

B-side: probably a remix of 'The Shock of The Lightning', a song everyone will have been listening to for months.

^ lol everyones saying that remixes aren't a good thing to have but after listening to the album version of Falling Down and it's remix, i personally prefer the remix, but then again i have been listening to the almost every day and the album version may grow on me, but who knows
hopefully Chem Bros will release more remixes.

the remixes are already out i hope its not i believe in all or boy with the blues as B-Sides, good songs as they are we've already heard them, probably one of the reasons why shock of the lightning isnt at no. 1

The remix was the only flaw to their near perfect marketing strategy

That's just a coincidence right? That's my birthday and IOT is my favorite off of DOYS. Brilliant. Hopefully there will be proper b-sides...

Proper b-sides? The Falling Down remix is the best b-side since (You've Got) The Heart Of A Star and if the bonus disc is anything to go by the b-sides on future singles will be awesome!

I don't I Believe in All or BWTB will be the B-sides as I doubt Noel would allow an all Liam penned disk

Dont agree with this at all, its just lazy. We hear from Noel in interviews he has about 4000 songs laying around unused so put some new ones on as b sides. Oasis were well known for their great b sides, its lazy as anything to put stuff which is on the deluxe album. Complete waste as people in the past used to buy the single for the b sides also. The Falling Down remix is superb but most of us already had that plus it was on the bonus dvd. Also there was just one extra on the single, no wonder it didnt sell a lot. The album is superb but its the worst single as in extras from any Oasis cd single with just one b side and one most people would have had, put a new song on as a b side

Even if unfinished, they should put Come On, It's Alright and some other unused songs on the next singles, not the contents from the Bonus Disc IMO....

I get your point with single sales, but IMO the songs on the bonus disc are lightyears ahead of the DBTT b-sides.
