A few days ago there was a thread that said that radio stations will get the promo CD for Shock Of The Lightening and it will leak on sunday Aug 10, but it will be a radio edit version. How true was this thread, can this be confirmed that it will leak tomorrow?

yea i also think the first day we will hear it is Aug 15, but Im leaving for a 3 day trip for Washington DC with the camp i work at on tuesday and would love to have the song to listen to on the bus ride up to DC, so thats why im wondering if that person was telling the truth or not

Well, it really just depends, it could be early, because another station could threaten to play it, or it could leak anywhere from the time the radio station gets it from the minute before its going to be played. We just can't really tell as of now, because no one on this forum can predict the future, aside from Banana Hammock of course...  |

This is what my brother sent me via email...he's been living in Japan for a year and 4months 2 be presice.
That's the word he's heard down there.
The only thing is that he's off 2 italy for 3weeks 2 visit family so I won't here from him till he gets back so I don't know what station.
I'm confident that it will be played.
My brother knows that I don't fuck around with oasis.
Let's keep our fingers crossed.
But I say book it.

Friday Aug 15, 3:15am EST time, 8:15 UK time, The Shock Of The Lightning will be played on BBC Radio 6 Music so if theriddler1 isnt right with his japanese radio, at least by friday morning when most people wake up we will all get to hear it  |
