thats how shit leaks... people get advanced copies, not caring about the band, or thinking its that big a deal, put it on their hard drive and then all of a sudden people are dl'ing it off their hard drive via peer to peer networks.

eh..... i wouldnt recommend doing that that's a perfect way to spread viruses.... getting over-eager fans to try and download an album, only to discover that its a virus... Edit: Although I will say, if anyones willing to take the risk, it is likely to be on limewire before a lot of other places (lastfm  ) |

You don't need to be on the lookout for it. When it leaks and its available its not going to go unnoticed.

actually it will go un-noticed.. like i said someone gets a copy, puts it on their pc, then slowly people start getting it via peer to peer, thats 9 times out of 10 how an album leaks. jsut that like the above poster stated, so many fakes get posted, the real ones take a while to get noticed.

Albums don't go unnoticed. Whoever leaks albums usually uploads them to torrents or whatever and there not long spreading.

Yeah but albums aren't made ''accidentally'' available on a peer to peer networks. When they leak 9 outta 10 times its not accidental and its not on peer to peer networks. Someone within the camp takes it and leaks or it or another way for example is when the cd is getting pressed up some one takes it and leaks it.
Theres tons of other ways it get leaked to but all Im saying is it doesn't get leaked accidentaly 9 times outta 10 on peer to peer networks. Thats untrue.

I actually did a limewire search yesterday and found results but they were shit files. Made me look like a fool dancing around shirtless in my living room while they were downloading...

Hahaha. What are you talking about? I know those to be facts. No need to get mad. Albums don't leak 9 times outta 10 accidentally thru peer to peer sites. Like I said 9 times outta 10 they leak cause somebody gets there hands on the tunes and leaks them purposely. Thats a fact nothing made up about it.

yea i think you are both partially right/partially wrong
theres so many different ways an album can leak...
1. someone gets a copy of it and uploads it on the internet
2. it is accidentally released early... like Itunes did with DBTT
3. the way njoasisnyc is describing
4. John Cena posts it after RAW is over
so yea, there's really no way to expect how its gonna leak
