I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to findthe acoustic verson of Gas Panic that Noel did on MTV or something...I remember him and a few others (perhaps Paul Weller) sitting in chairs surrounded by a bunch of blue lights on the floor.
I've seen it, but I can't find it again on YouTube.
Thanks!!

With the blue lights on the floor? Do you know where I could find a version of that? I actually like the acoustic version much better than the studio or live (Liam) version.

I'm not sure about the blue lights, but I'm pretty sure it was the only acoustic performance ever played of that song.... but there are some others with some weird lights wich they perform Sunday Morning Call and Who feels Love?....

Haha, yes I do I saw it once on YouTube, but haven't been able to find it again. There are definitely blue lights on the floor, and I was thinking it was some kind of MTV show...the 'something' room maybe? All I know is that it was a great version and I'd like to see/hear it again!

I can't seem to find it in a list of MTV programs either...maybe I don't remember what I remember. I do know that Noel was playing an old beat-up acoustic (not the Gibson 200 he used on tour with Gem) and they were sitting amidst what looks like blue Christmas lights scattered on the floor.
What's really sad is that, in looking through all the programs MTV offers/had offered over the years, the list for reality and celebrity programs is a lot longer than the ones that actually show music performances!!!

That's actually quite shocking. Although a reality show of noel and liam would be very, very funny to watch! Those two are comic geniuses...

Yeah, that would be one reality show I would watch, although it would probably need to be subtitled over here in the States!
But seriously, MTV doesn't play music anymore! Ticks me off...

All I know is that it was a great version and I'd like to see/hear it again! You're a little mixed up there mate... this show is Later With Jools Holland, nothing to do with MTV... and it's the WHITE ROOM you meant wich were a couple of performances back in 1995 with Paul Weller playing piano in Talk Tonight.... And just to make clear, in the Jools Holland show they played Gas panic!, but not acoustically and Liam sang it... as I said the only acoustic version is the one I told, in brazil, and i'm pretty sure that ther's no video of it

Really? Did I get it mixed up that badly? Wow, that's pretty big, even for me. Jools Holland, Paul Weller...they both have two LL's in their last name. Thanks for steering me straight though. I appreciate it

Oh, sorry, there's a link from Sunday Morning Call to the Who Feels Love video. Looks like same studio set-up with the lights on the floor and everything.
I did hit the lake earlier and have a few cold ones, but I'm in my (mostly) right mind.

Noel played this beautiful acoustic version of Gas panic! in Brazil. One day after Rock in rio gig, I guess. It was at City radio(Rádio Cidade).
