I have a friend who works at 102.1 The Edge in Toronto who has heard 3 songs off the album. The station was sent a promo CD with 3 DOYS songs and the 'Falling Down remix'.
The track listing is as follows:
1. The Shock of The Lightning
2. I'm Outta Time
3. Falling Down
4. Falling Down Remix
I asked him to get me lyrics (and of course he gets lyrics from the Liam song... ugh). Anyway, here is what he emailed me...

I haven't heard a single song off DOYS and I never said this one (IOT) was any good. All I've heard so far is the SOTL intro and posted that I thought it was good. I've known the guy for a little over a year. My University is partnered with several television and radio stations in Toronto. It's probably got the most respected broadcasting program in Canada. He's a student who is on a work-study at The Edge. I've been pestering him about The Verve album "Forth" for weeks and weeks. I didn't even ask him about DOYS, but he told me on Thursday that The Edge received this promo CD late this week from Warner (along with a bunch of promotional material announcing Oasis' signing with Warner.) I thought at first that he had the whole CD, so I asked for lyrics and he sent me those, then told me that it's just a promo CD and that there are only 3 songs from album on it, plus the Falling Down remix. |
