Reprise usually means the song is a bit different, so are there two types of TSOTL?

You know as well as I do, that American charts are weird espc with the Modern Rock charts. Lyla maxxed out at 19 after a debut at 31. I have no doubt that out of that list, that Oasis will be the strongest "premiere" by probably double the nearest competitor, but that it will do anything against stuff that will already be on there is another story. Its pretty much useless in regards to crossing over to the pop charts, when crap like Rihanna and Katy Perry can dominate for weeks and weeks.

Reprise usually means the song is a bit different, so are there two types of TSOTL? Reprise does not refer to a reprise (like AATW reprise) in this regard. Reprise Records is the LABEL that will be carrying the band in the US. Warner Brothers owns them. Look at the rest of the songs have stuff in (). Its the labels that distribute the song. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reprise_RecordsBig Brother is a UK label only. Reprise will be their American label. Warner Brothers is the parent company.

sad thing is, the only thing that will get any airplay outside of the big cities is the Kooks.

Oasis gets decent airplay still Entirely and completely dependent on where you live and the market. I hear Wonderwall occasionally, as well as Champagne Supernova, but rarely (never) anything else.

I live in toronto canada and we get plenty of oasis on 102.1 the edge. Bookie the host on weekdays from 2 till 7 is a massive oasis fan. Falling down is on heavy rotation and he is playing the shock of the lightning on the 15th even though its due out in the states on the 18th.
