Anyone who has listened to Heavy Stereo will know hat Gem Archer has a fabulous singing voice! I've been wondering, has Gem provided any backing vocals to any songs since he joined Oasis? I think I saw him singing backup when the band played Better Man from Heathen Chemistry live, but aside from that I dont know of any more songs that include any of his backing vocals.

My generation...... check out 2.38ish I really love that verison I wish that was the verison they put out on the She is Love/Little by Little single. I was under the impression that I could heard Gem on Born on a Different Cloud... then again I could be wrong my friends and I have this running joke that I can "Always hear Gem" lol |

I think Gem and/or Liam did some backing vocals on a few tracks on DBTT.
The ones I suspect are Love Like a Bomb, The Meaning of Soul, and Guess God Thinks I'm Abel. Anyone else agree or at least suspect it might be one or the other doing those backup vox?

Anyone else agree or at least suspect it might be one or the other doing those backup vox? always wondered myself at the end of ggtia (the 'no one could break us part), who is singing the 'ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh' ''s in the background? ... to me , it sounds like liam mixed with someone else's voice, and i don't think it is noel's. maybe that is gem then?  |

To be honest I think Gem has (had - as i havent heard him sing properly since Heavy Stereo) a brilliant singing voice, at times he sounded lennonesque. but lead vocals for oasis is a long shot, i do think he should sing more though

Oasis is getting more Democratic. I wouldn't be surprised if he sang a song on the album after Dig Out Your Soul. It's the least Noel and Liam (who's admitted that Gem has helped him with his songwriting) could do.

He's got a great voice having seen him in the studio and spoke to him about it you can tell he wants to sing a track on an album but he's just unfortunate that Liam and Noel are so good

no lie that is one of the worst songs/vocal performances i've ever heard from a band whos main stage isn't a garage or local pub maybe its just not my style...but his voice scrapes my ears |

During the HC tour Gem did backing vocals in HIABP, BM, FON and My Generation...but I really rather just Noel doing it...
