Just listened to the SOTL opening and it sounds great. My expectations have increased.

Sotsog is by far their worst album. If not for gas panic it would be a total disaster

Sotsog is by far their worst album. If not for gas panic it would be a total disaster It's between SOTSOG and HC for me as their worst. They both have their high points: SOTSOG - Gas Panic, SMC, WDIAGW, RIO, GLIO are all ace HC - Song Bird, SCYHO, THT, LBL, BOAD are all good too But they both have terrible low points: SOTSOG - LJ, ICSAL, PYMWYMI HC - Better Man, Quick Peep, HIABP, FON.....The Cage --- While HC has more filler on it, SOTSOG has the worst 3 Oasis songs ever released, so HC gets the slight advantage. The only positive we can take from this is that Oasis never releases shit - we're guarunteed at least 4 incredible songs or so. Also, we'll never have a fiasco like those 2 albums again, the boys have moved on. Thank god.

Its hard to compare SOTSOG and HC as the highs of SOTSOG are a million times higher than the highs of HC...
However, the lows of SOTSOG are a million times lower than that of HC.. so they kinda balance out in the end
Think SOTSOG edges it though because of the standout tracks

Think SOTSOG edges it though because of the standout tracks I agree. Headshrinker authored a good overview of the highs and lows of both albums, but I wouldn't put "I Can See A Liar" as the lowest track on that album. Although the song lacks lyrical prowess it is a solid jam.

Gas Panic! Roll It Over. SCYHO. Songbird. Minus those 4, those 2 would be so awful.
