i was looking at that too, i think it was bailey360 (?) all i really noticed is that the dig out your soul cover looks so removed from the rest of them. in a cool way. I think if its an indication of anything its that the band are really putting themselves out there with this one and daring to just throw everything at it - not sure about the story though - be cool if you let us know what you see

Personally, I think too many people are reading into the covers a bit too much.

Yeah, the 3 most vibrant covers match up with the 3 most virbrant sounding albums (DM, WTS, BHN), and the 3 dull covers do likewise.

However, that's most likely mere coincidence!

I don't think Noel thought "Hmmm Heathen Chemistry sounds dull as fuck, lets make the cover resemble how boring the album is!"

I love the new cover, but doesn't that hand with the finger pointing up just scream Monty Python? That's my only quibble with the new cover.
I can just see all these fucking reviewers referencing that hand and making some cutesy comment.
