I saw the first scheduled radio airplay date for TSOTL as Aug 15. Working at a very big radio station like I do, I promise you they will have the promo single in their hands by the very latest Aug 8th. And not only that, but alot of these programmers and DJ's do have quite a few connections and DO know some things. Now how much of it is fabricated and deliberate misinformation is debatable and can really only be confirmed by Oasis management. However, just a piece of advice...I've seen a few statements about this album that I've also been told from some people at work. The annoying part is trying to sort through what's bullshit and what's real. BUT, trust me...there has been some accurate info being passed around the past couple of days

I'm going to need to see a copy of your name on the payroll.... haha i was waiting for that one mate, fair play to you but i have ZERO chance of scoring a promo of the single anyway, (wouldnt listen to it, just for my collection), i only work there weekends and by then, the 'free cd bin' has been picked clean by the fulltimers during the week! (only ones ever left are miley cyrus and that colbie caillat sp (?) ) bleech!!

Basically I've heard Falling Down will be incredible and Soldier On will be like a Champagne Supernova type thing. I gotta be honest it's not 100%, I just kinda assume the more times I hear the same thing, the more likely the rumor is true. And of course I keep in mind who I hear it from. Take it for what it's worth... Oh yea, Ain't Got Nothin is the same song.

Oh yea, Ain't Got Nothin is the same song. telling you people, don't be so quick to write off ain't got nothin' ... i think it will be great, liam's vocals will be cleaner, and it will be longer, perhaps with a longer drawn-outro in the vein of ' i want you (she's so heavy)' ... i mean even on the demo it starts to get real interesting near the end... how cool would it be to hear it end completely cold like that

ain't got nothing's demo isn't half as bad as people say it is... I'm sure that with some more work it could turn into a good enough song which is what they probably did for the final version, and if it's the weakest track on the album it will be mega!

I agree with you 100% on this one. I have never heard an Oasis song that I haven't liked. Some I admit, have been "just ok," but I've never called one "shit." I bet "Ain't Got Nothin'" will be satisfactory at worst, and will also fit in well with the rest of the album. And then of course, it might just kick some serious ass!

Honestly, do we really think they would release a song if it was shit? C'mon.
Little James doesn't count.

It's a shit Doors ripoff. Nah, if anything, the guitar intro is a ripoff of T.N.T. by AC/DC. Still a pretty good tune though.

Are you kidding me? Listen to 'Roadhouse Blues' by the Doors, they're basically the same song. They even have the same lyrics!
