All you people who love Eyball Tickler should listen to Jet's "Take It Or Leave" than you can all shut up about a dull arsed rip off that shoulodnt have been a B-side in the first place. Has your girlfriend just left you, or have you always been a wanker?

I Wanna Live A Dream In a Record Machine I was so excited to see this leaked as it was the biggest song I was anticipating at the time (the honour now goes to Soldier On). Well I really like the song, but it leaves me wanting far more. It has gotten to the point where I'm finding the first 2 and a half minutes boring and I don't really tune in until the solo. I think I'm longing for the 2 more guitar solos, the 6 more minutes of the song and Liam's backing vocals to hear this song's potential. When did Liam last do backing vocals to Noel? I think he pretty much refuses to. The last time I can remember it is on the Warchild version of Fade Away - which they had a massive argument over, as Liam wanted to sing lead vocal. It sounded great though, I think it's a terrible shame they never explored that dynamic in any further songs. I think it comes down to an ego thing for Liam; like he says, he considers himself "the singer" and doesn't think Noel should sing any of it! (Sadly there's now a load of stuff Liam CAN'T sing, so that argument doesn't really stack up).

Stop The Clocks is fucking brilliant, I actually connected with that song on an emotional level. However I wouldnt mind hearing what Liam could bring to the song, and I would LOVE a proper studio version! Maybe, but seriously man, Jet are just an OASIS rip-off, the people, the music, the look, fuck em.

Has your girlfriend just left you, or have you always been a wanker? No idea about his girlfriend, but he's dead right about Eyeball Tickler. Not only is it pisspoor songwriting, but it's the worst example of what Sardy does to Oasis' sound, it sounds like it was recorded inside a big metal trash can.

Eyeball Tickler fucking rocks man, that and Turn Up The Sun, the only two good things to really come from DBTT and Sardy.

I remember reading somewhere that Liam chimes in the background and goes, "Dream, dream, live in a dream." It's probsbly bullshit, but that would be cool.

Stop the Clocks: It was a bit of a let down because it was hyped so much, but still a very good song. It's very reminiscent of The La's song "Looking Glass". I love how the chords change up a bit towards the end, and then it ends with "now the night is over, there'll be no sound". if there wasn't the stupid echo thing, I could see that being a fantastic album ender.
I Wanna Live in A Dream (In My Record Machine): This one is fucking mega. In my opinion, it beats anything on Don't Believe the Truth or Heathen Chemistry. The song is very psychedelic and definitely peaks at the solo and "You can't gimme a reason I don't need one to shine" bit. I really wish this would have been included in the new LP. Hopefully someday we'll get a proper version of it.
Nothin' On Me (possibly "Ain't Got Nothing?): At first, I really wasn't a fan of this song. But I think with a little help this song could turn out to be good. I almost think of it like The Meaning of Soul part 2, but not quite there yet. I love how the strings come in at the end too. But I am kind of disappointed that there is a good chance that this is on the new album.

nothin on me is actually pretty awesome, with a bit more work I wouldn't be at all disappointed if a better version was on the new album I'm actually pretty hopeful over Aint Got Nothing. I mean Let There Be Love back when people referred to it as It's a Crime is far removed from Let There Be Love. The Hindu Times demo doesn't compare favorably to the album version either. I think when they polish it up it's going to be much better. It's going to be one of those songs that you either blast out or skip depending on weather you're a wall of sound Liam lover or not.
