Just wanna shout and say hello to all on the L4E site! I'm located in Massachusetts but most of what I listen to are bands from foreign countries, especially the U.K. because I despise the music over here, sans a few really good bands. So if any of you can give me any recommendations, feel free :-)

Well I have to admit, I still like the UK bands from the 90s best - Manics, Kula Shaker, Charlatans, Travis, Ash, etc. The last couple of bands from the UK that sound promising to me are The Electric City and The Clocks, and I am crossing my fingers that the next Razorlight album is better than their second.
Oh, and I like Kasabian, Muse, and The Soundtrack Of Our Lives too!

There are a few decent bands from the USA. One of them is a new band from Kentucky called Cage The Elephant...they're terrific, but even they were smart enough to relocate to England, LOL. I guess they figured they had a better shot at selling records over there than over here.

I love The BRMC. The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Von Bondies, We Are Scientists, and some of the bands you mentioned, I like as well. You should check out Cage The Elephant. Their debut album just came out a few weeks ago and it's the bomb. I'd compare them a bit to The Kings Of Leon.

I liked The Libs but I never thought they were "great" like a lot of other people did. But yeah, I do have both of their albums - and I prefer Dirty Pretty Things over Babyshambles.

I'm assuming you also like the Stereophonics but unless I'm having one of my blind idiot moments I didn't see them lol
Try some Audioslave/Soundgarden/Chris Cornell solo stuff!
