People, where is your brain? In the pouring rain? As it soaks you to the bone
There is not one slim tiny chance that this is the album version, there has been no hint of a chemical brothers involvement or dance influence, the chemical brothers have remixed a song off the album which they liked, would oasis let a brand spanking album track get played on the radio? Well if they did it would have been "The shock of the lightning" not an album track.
This track is TOTALLY chemical brothers with noels vocals on top, its sounds like "let forever be" "setting sun" all rolled into one, its not oasis, its their spin on an oasis song.
The sound is CHEMICAL BROTHERS

the fact that this has to be pointed out to people so many times that it's not oasis and it's a remix is just really really sad...

Clearly not the album version. I think Noels being clever, said this in another thread Not a big fan of this. But I think its a ploy - creating confusion before the release. I think theyve been very clever here. The albums been finished ages ago and everything has been quiet. Now they put this out without too much clear info regarding it. We still dont even have any 100% official tracklisting so Falling Down (whatever version) may not even be on there ala Can Y'See It Now This is a very different marketing approach to the usual fanfare. The confusion is building the expectation.

the setting sun elements are undeniable. love the tune tho...the electronic-less version is sure to please. Probably a bit of a gamble spitting this out now (for oasis), but maybe it will actually boost the originals "i like it better" factor. the youtube community seemsto like it a bunch though.

Im not sure if i like it yet, just seems like the chemical brothers to me & im not keen on them but with a raw gibson, orchestra, choir & piano in it, it will become epical!!

I believe it's a remix, but it'll be issued under the Oasis name (on a promo, maybe a b-side, maybe on this super deluxe version of the album Noel is talking about).
