I know its a B-Side but its from DBTT period.
Anyway, I think the Demo sounds better, i love the screams and stuff in it and how the guitars are slightly louder. Liam sounds better in the Demos of DBTT. The albums production is immense, clean, fresh and everything, but i think the demos are a bit "rockier" for use of a word.
On another note, DBTT always sounded happy to me, and quite summer-ish, in terms of the Guitars and stuff, especially Keep The Dream Alive.
Anyone else agree? get that feeling?
Sorry if you don't know what i mean, ha.

Yeah.... but the artwork doesn't do it justice. The artwork is bleak and depressing, but the music is bright and happy.

Yeah mate, thats true. I think Eyeball Tickler will be more on the lines of the new album, how Eyeball Tickler missed DBTT i don't know.

the demo is massive. it doesn't sound so polished. it would have been amazing if they could have fit it or LDSMD into slot 4 instead of love like a bomb.
and about the summer sound, i think that was what the band was aiming for.

They could have fit both Eyeball Tickler and Lord Don't Slow Me Down on that album, seeing as it was only forty fucking minutes anyway.

Yea add them two and it would have made a great record better! Eyeball just after Lyla and Lord Don't Slow me down right after Guess God Thinks!

Eyeball just after Lyla and Lord Don't Slow me down right after Guess God Thinks! i think i'm going to make that into a ipod playlist and listen to it running. those two tunes could have made the album sound more complete. also would silence most of the DBTT doubters.

I looove Eyeball Ticker. That song's great.
And after listening to some of the demos on youtube, I have to agree, I like some of the demos better. It's like they wanted a very stripped down sound for DBTT, but went a little too far, and stripped a little too much in some songs.
