Nadal just beat Federer in a really, really long match. It was epic.

Federer didn't play particularly well, but well enough to force 5 sets. He only broke Nadal once, converting one of 13 break points.

Fantastic match. One of the greatest sporting contests I've ever seen - certainly the greatest tennis match. Unlikely to be topped.

I'm gutted. Federer should've taken the second set and won the match.
other than that it really is the best tennis match I've ever seen by far.

Nah, Federer was off his game, and Nadal did more than enough to earn it.

it was absolutely superb! Thank God for that rain break in the middle of the 3rd set 'cos we could be discussing a straight set victory for nadal right now instead of a 5 set epic!

The greatest tennis match ever. What made it better was the respect between the two players, they are two real champions. Cant imagine Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger behaving properly can you?

Well, Fergie's a borderline alcoholic, and Wenger's (allegedly) a paedophile.
Puts their football-related indiscretions into perspective, eh?

Indeed it does Supersonic1983. Gentlemanly conduct has evaporated from the fine game that was Football.

Fergie's drinking habits are well-publicised. His off-the-field activities are, however, irrelevant, as he's spent the last two decades firmly establishing himself as the greatest manager ever to roam the earth.
And just to clarify: Arsene Wenger isn't actually a paedophile. It's just a song United fans sing in an attempt at making light of his club's 'youth policy'.
