As the title suggests, i'm very interested in getting something that would allow me to play songs backwards (specifically Fade In-Out and The Masterplan). Hopefully, this would be compatible w/ a mac. Much appreciative for any help.

well, the quick and simple answer would be the windows sound recorder, the effects tab gives you backwards play. Not sure about a mac. I bet someone has it reversed on teh web somewhere if you google it

aha only problem (sorta) is is ony opens .wav files, so be sure to save your tracks in wav format! Most ripping software will rip to wav format, the files are pretty big though so be patient with sound recorder it's weak!
If you want something more powerful (but more complicated too) look for goldwave it works pretty well.

Audacity works as well but the select all before you do it sucks

Thanks for the help guys. Right now, i've got audacity up and running, but i'm not sure how to work it... EDIT: Never mind, i just got figured out. I'm listening to the solo on master plan as we speak... And if anyone ever wondered what the backwards bit in F IO is, it is "get on the roller"

For The Stone Roses fans, try playing Don't Stop backwards. Yeah, it's Waterfall, but the vocals are quite trippy and the acoustic solo (before the electric) sounds louder, oddly enough.
