Sounds like they'll get more control with this (singles etc.) Hoefully Sony will do a better job of Promotion in the U.S.

Now that Big Brother gets a piece of the pie aswell, there betta be some quality Bsides if they want my $17.99. Is $17.99 what you have to pay for singles?

Now that Big Brother gets a piece of the magic pie aswell, there betta be some quality Bsides if they want my $17.99. Is $17.99 what you have to pay for singles? No but, surely one or two singles will be out before the album drops. Meaning the album HAS to be quality all way around. You know what, also, too much shit talking they did about Sony and they go sign on with them again....

You know what, also, too much shit talking they did about Sony and they go sign on with them again.... It does seem really uncharacteristic to me. But I guess we don't know all the details, so who's to say. It may be the case with the record industry where its at right now, Sony decided they couldn't afford to lose a revenue stream like Oasis. I am pleased we finally found out something.

They better now promote Oasis way better then they did in the past few years. Internationally I mean.
For example, Let There Be Love had a lot of potential to get high in the charts in Europe and maybe in the US. It was accesable to a wide reaching public, because it was a ballad kind of thing. It could have been launched as the new Imagine or Let It Be. But the song when it came out here in Holland was hardly been played on Radio. And the videoclip was poor. Some fukin preview of a live DVD it was... nothing more. No creative stuff. I must say Masterplan had a great videoclip, reminded me a bit of the AATW videoclip.
Talking of that, They could have released Acquisce and Masterplan as a double single, with remixed versions (by Dave Sardy) and promoted it like crazy, then it could have been big. But, they just dropped it like nothing... a treadent not worthy to the songs.
