First of all, for all the fuking priks who never properly read threads, i am not saying that my country is any better than England at any particular sport, be it football rugby etc etc But the sad thing about the English is how fucking stupidly biased they are.... The BBC want viewers at the end of the day. That way they get ratings which justifies them keeping the liscence fee, that in turn keeps them afloat financially.
They will not get viewers unless they hype everything, it's a basic marketing convention. The sports 'personalities' are simply a tool that they can use in order to expand on this hype and speculation.. It was always going to be Tim Henman's year because everybody loves the underdog, they all knew that he was never going to win, the chance of him doing so would be exciting.
It's not bias, it's marketing.. Second of all, what country doesn't back their own team?
