I love this song and is by far my favourite not Noel written song.
It reminds me of the days of bonehead with simple rythm guitar chords blared out with simple songs that prove just so catch, repetition of the same lines (often nonsense and steady basic drum beat with lots of feedback at beginning and ends, just like Columbia!
Long story short, aside from Hung In A Bad Place I can ony think of a hanfull of other oasis songs with thats same rock formula that proved in anyway to be a succes,
Go Let it Out....although quite slow it's genious
Fuckin in th Bushes!!!.....swamp song number 2??
Hindu Times.....great tune..
Hung in A Bad Place....a taste of DM days and from an unusual source.....Gem.....what a ledgend!!??
And those that feel song from DBTT are in any way how i have described then get some sense. What you think???
I think that shows just how much we need a new rock song!!
any thoughts???..
.....and please MADFER IT, DONT RUIN THIS THREAD PLEASE??!!

I think a Bell will Ring is a good'un. Hung in a bad place is one of my personal favourites though, got such a super groove to it and fantastic simple guitar work.

Great song. I prefer the live version of this song, though. It's brilliant where both the Gallaghers shouts out "You got me!".

Force of Nature is fantastic live as well. So much power behind it.

A personal favorite of mine but it would have been mega with some really in your face production.
HC tour was a pretty good tour. The set list was brilliant and most of HC songs were better b/c they cought the energy of the band which was not captured with the poor production of HC. I hope the set list is just as varied an this next tour

I've been listening to Heathen Chemistry quite a bit recently, not anywhere near as bad as I remember it to be. In fact if you stop it after Little by Little, that's one of the best first halves to an Oasis album in my opinion.

"Better Man" from MTV Super Dry is dead cool.

In fact if you stop it after Little by Little, that's one of the best first halves to an Oasis album in my opinion. yes. the problem with it is that it's enjoyable while you are listening to it, but it's not memorable at all. When I listen to it I think "Wow this is great!" but then I won't listen to it in 4 months... The first half is really good except for FON which drags on for too long and even though it does have an interesting riff it's not very good. the second half is weaker but the songs aren't all that bad. Still, thsi is the weakest Oasis album by far because they weren't trying anything new. They were trying to make a new MG and it's impossible to do that. That's why I like DBTT so much, cos they sound relaxed and they're not doing the same old songs all over again.

"Better Man" from MTV Super Dry is dead cool. Ohh yeah! It's one of my favorite songs on Heathen Chemistry. The different mix version is much better than the album version though. I also love the live version of this. The one they did at the Wittness festival in '02 is sick!

Imagine Little By Little played acoustic in a similar way to the acoustic '05 version of Live Forever. I think that would've been ace!

I don't like the vocal's very much on LBL, they seem kind of cheezy, but it is a good song. That line, 'day has come and now you'll have to ac-cept', makes me cringe every time
