I remember not believing, at first, in Nothin' On Me lyrics cos' I clearly remember Liam stating that he had written this song and there was a line that said "I'm out on bail, I'm out of jail", which wasn't in the presented lyrics... but now hearing, I noticed that in the chorus he sings "I won't bail, to unveil"... maybe a change in lyrics? or the first version was a bad interpreted line? anyway, I just remembered that and wanted to see if anyone recollects that...

out of all the songs he's written, only Little James is shit.
And i think we can now forgive him for that crap tune since it was his first one, and he's redeemed himself with the likes of Song Bird, LLAB, BOADC, MOS, and GGTIA

He's been writing songs for years. Heck, he wrote songs for Oasis before Noel did!

It's available on some bootlegs with all the early stuff. Little James was rather his first song released on a Oasis record.

The "I'm out on bail, I'm out of jail" line was made up by The Sun Seemingly not. The Sun's version of the first line was "I'm out on bail/ I'm out of jail/ Hear my song, sing along." On the recording it's "Out on bail, to unveil, hear my song, sing along." Sounds to me they heard the real thing, which Liam changed slightly before he recorded it.

I knew it!! ;D By the way, I'm not a fan of LJ and MOS but I think the rest of Liam songs are quite good actually... and since Nothin' on Me it's pretty much a rock tune I'm really digging it... i believe after Noel, Liam is the best songwriter in the band

To be fair, the electric version of Songbird, (studio) with harmonicas and electric guitar is fantastic!
