I don't think Noel would want to drum on a record. It would mean overdubbing and already with songwriting, singing, playing guitar, helping to design artwork etc.. he would have a lot on his plate.

Seems like Zak and the band were on rocky roads for quite a while now, got this info in yesterday: From a reliable source close to the band: " I knew he had left months ago....." When you say "Zak and the band" I read that as Zak and Noel because there wouldn't be conflict with anyone else in the band, and if there was it wouldn't matter as long as Noel was on his side.

I feel like all this business about "conflict" and things is just a lot of hype...Zak has been a "semi member" for years, I bet they asked him to be a full time member and he couldn't or wouldn't commit.... so Noel being the kind of person that we all feel he is it was all or nothing. Either your in the band or not, I bet Noel made it very cut and dry. I don't believe it was like a "cricket bat" nasty argument like of course the Sun and the Mirror would have us believe.

I agree. I mean, come on, a Gallagher brother kicking a Beatle's son out of Oasis? It just doesn't sound right...had to be a conflict between Zak's schedules with Oasis and The Who, not a big blow-up like the papers have made it seem.
