For those sweating bullets over the "mediocrity" or all-out failure of the "new album" DIV "demos", "out-takes" or whatever you want to call them, take this into consideration: LISTEN to the "demos" of the DBTT LP and consider the strides those songs took before making the DBTT LP cut. The best example is likely love like a bomb. Sure the tune itself is basically the same, but the production and finishing touches on the song are really what makes it the gem (pun intended!) it is, and they are undeniable. Had I heard it (the LLAB demo) 6 months before the album release, I would have been a little undewhelmed too. Now, I (like many others here no doubt) do LIKE some of the elements of some of them (the less substantial intro to turn up the sun, for example) but on the whole, I can say confidently that EVERY single LP version sounds worlds better to MY ears. I guess what I'm saying is this: In my view, these "songs"should be looked at from an entirely POSITIVE standpoint: 1. It exhibits a deft hand from the band to NOT release material that is either sub-standard, under-produced, or both- a welcome trend from a small streak of albums that could have benefitted from such judicial subtractions (let's be honest here). 2. After DBTT, I pretty much EXPECT albums from here on out to be much more even. with 4 songwriters in the mix now, it will be all but impossible NOT to come up with a solid mix of 10-12 tunes. Whether you're crazy about DBTT or not, its hard to argue with the consistency of the record when contrasted with HC, BHN, or SOTSOG. Simply put, I just don't think these 3 "new" songs will see the light of day on the new album til the band (yes, nearly collectively) feels they're ready. This may mean major overhauls (which, imo, will have to happen to "nothin on you" for it to be included) on tunes that will undoubtedly and SIGNIFICANTLY alter their "sound"- if they're ever included at all! Seasoned Oasis vets here coud name tunes we've seen undergo such alterations- "let there be love" comes to mind. So everybody relax and just wait it out for another DBTT...10-12 great songs from a BAND called Oasis.

thanks- I just thought some of the crticisms of these three songs was getting to be a bit over the top in many cases.
