This to me says that although these songs arent from the the current sessions (we already knew that) - the same songs could have been rerecorded for the current sessions but in a different way - therefore Record Machine and Stop the Clocks could be still on the album Exactly! I'm glad there are a few other people on here who can think for themselves and read inbetween the lines It just means that the Inet administrator knows shit all about what's on the new album and just wanted to point out that the leaks are from old sessions and are not, as some mighy say, leaked from the new album. We are none the wiser.

worded slightly different in this report on UPI
LONDON, May 7 (UPI) -- A representative for the British rock band Oasis said previously unreleased songs that have been leaked onto the Internet were not recently recorded.
The songs -- "I Wanna Live in a Dream in My Record Machine," "Nothing on Me" and "Stop the Clocks" -- have appeared on several different Web sites.
An Oasis representative told the BBC the tunes were "old" and won't necessarily appear on the band's new studio album, which is set for release later this year.

We're back to square one lol, so no crying yet.

I think what they're saying is that the songs are demos. I remember them saying that they planned on making STC electric. This is the acoustic version they did for DBTT. I remember Noel saying something similar for Record Machine. I think they'll just make them electric. And didn't he say many times that STC and Record Machine will be on the album

Out of all the information thats been published thats the only one thats been mentioned and the description is always 10+ minutes long etc.

Oasis "Relaxed" Over Leak
Oasis are taking a "relaxed" attitude after three demos leaked online.
The Liam Gallagher-sung Nothing On Me and Noel-sung Stop The Clocks and I Want To Live In A Dream In My Record Machine circulated online on Tuesday.
A source told PS: "The band are being laidback about it, they're not going to sue anyone. As long as people realise these are early demos, not finished songs, they're relaxed."

These are no way the Sardy recordings. They recorded 10 tracks with DIV, probably around the time I just mentioned, an educated guess tells me they were . . . LLAB LDSMD STC TUTS IWLIADIMRM ET NOMNOY TMOS ABWR MF The conspicious absence of Lyla, TIOBI, KTDA, POTQ and the reworked LTBL which were all written after the DIV sessions lend weight to this aspect too. You're forgetting one key element. TMOS was electric at first. They did not go to an acoustic based song until they got with Sardy. This is mentioned on the Ear Is No Memory documentary that came with the DBTT disc. Secondly, they did not record that many of the songs with them that were released. They were only with them for 3-4 weeks. According to Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don't_Believe_the_Truth (yes not entirely reliable) the songs recorded were: Finally, I've spoken to the source of the leak myself. He has factually and without doubt stated these are from a early Sardy session. They're not DIV sessions. If you're going to use the absence of POTQ and Lyla to back your argument, well its safe to use the absence of a Mucky Fingers demo to back up the case for them not being DIV. The date on the disc (January 5, 2005) also points to it being far more likely a Sardy session. I watched the Ear Has No Memory documentary again last night. No one says that Sardy made TMOS electric from acoustic. Also on the Can You See It Now documentary (Lyla DVD) Andy Bell says they recorded/went through all the songs with DIV, mostly live.

Look at what heathens has posted two comments before, we can expect that Sardy (who convinced Noel on working again over It's a Crime(LTBL)), will do the same with STC and IWLIADIMRM. I hope the album has a lot of stuff

Well, actually I think there's no need that Sardy convinces Noel. The band themselves mean that the leaked songs have been re-recorded.

Well I do remember teading that Noel said they were going to do STC electric. That's why I knew it was a demo to begin with.
