Waiting… Adopting a more cautious posture a little, we are going to put the news we gave barely in system of stream, since already circulates for the press the news of that the song are rolling for the Web. With certainty, the Oasis will take measures for delete the links. Being like this, you at least you can hear the, for the time being, three news we gave of the new album and other we gave of sessions of the engravings of the "Don' t Believe The Truth". Comes more thing thereabouts during the week. Obs. : The correctly healthy road the comments. www.oasisnews.com.br/Can there really be more!??

Sure there can be. I'd say its 50/50 at this point.
A few of us knew for a few days that the source had STC, RM, and Nothing on Me, but he never mentioned these songs mentioned in the article above until today. He's obviously not happy about the leak so it could be a case of him playing around with whoever he gave that info to.
Being that this stuff leaked before the source was ready to share it wide, means we may not see anything more if it even exists. Id bet on it not right now because I know for a fact that at least one person asked him specifically about If theres a God (since theres a clip of it on Youtube) and he stated specifically that he did not have it. Thats the one Im most curious about as I love the clip.

Yes, of all songs, that's the one I want to hear the most, even more then I wanted to hear STC. Touche, however, monsieur, well done thus far, even if there isnt anything else (though I'd love to hear anything more!)

this is a double edge sword lol. I want to hold off for the new album so it's a fantastic experience, but August is to long to wait for, and i can stomach seeing everyone enjoying themselves with me not partaking in the fun too lol
So if it becomes available, i'll download it too
But, as the above says, im more cautious with this news. It could happen, and i agree its 50/50 at this point -- remember, we just recieved 3 leaks within a few hours last night, we are vulnerable to practical jokes right now (ie, the roller)

Thats the one Im most curious about as I love the clip. Yeah you're absolutely right. And the source contradicted himself when he e-mailed me and said he had "calling all, illicit mantra, boy with the blues, the roller, forever the people, what if there's a god, i'm all outta time", and was holding them back now because the first three songs went public. Why weren't all these other songs mentioned before, but only after the leak? Probably because there aren't any more.

He's also stated to someone that received the three that leaked early that the only truly unreleased stuff he had was Nothing On Me, STC, Record Machine, and LDSMD w/ Liam.
I'd bet against this right now, but I'd love to be proven wrong in this case.

Boy With The Blues and The Roller were recorded during the DBTT sessions, where all these leaks came from, AND we only have 9 of the 16 supposed tracks from that demo CD, so it is possible there are more songs.
But then again, it is early in the morning Wed May 7, (which is when the original article said the songs would leak) But this is only Eastern Time so it depends where the songs are coming from

What the idiots who post fake information like the most is for us to believe it and get our hope up, obviously. So take it with a grain of salt. I think it's possible, and borderline probable. But, as i've said above, we're very vulnerable right now, and it wouldnt surprise me if someone is messing with us - i hope not, but as the OP said, we've got to be more cautious this time round.

We don't know that for a fact at least in terms of how many songs he has. He's told at least one person that he has 18 total songs, half of which are already released (besides the demos and tracks we got within the last day). Meaning "regular DBTT" versions. The Roller has also been rumored since the HC days and I do know it was asked about during one of the DBTT era chat sessions and while I cant remember exactly, I believe it was re-worked into another tune. There was also a fake Roller posted here yesterday. You're wrong about BWTB. The first time BWTB was recorded was after DBTT was released. There was a rumor going around that it was going to be part of an EP before STC (the hits collection) was released.

"The Boy with the Blues" - written by Liam. Recorded during sessions for Don't Believe the Truth and seriously considered for a Spring/Summer 2006 EP release, but aborted due to the song being not complete enough for release. Described by Noel in a January 2006 interview as being "catchy as fuck", "a bit like Spiritualized", and is "driven by a piano and acoustic guitars."

And Wikipedia, of course, is always dead on.[/sarcasm] Its another one of those could be, may not be. None of us know for sure. And considering how many sessions they had for DBTT, it may not be THIS session. These songs that leaked are all from a specific run in the studio. The date on the disc the source has is January 5, 2005 which means that the majority of the songs were recorded in 2004.

Yep, you're right about BWTB. I completely forgot about Courtney Love. I was mistaken. Regardless, the chance of this source having those is pretty slim because of the way he's let the information out unless he gave the people he was speaking to different information on purpose.
Still 50/50 at best and I hope I'm wrong because I'd love to hear more.

Well, based on the admission of the offcial website, it appears that all they're saying is that they're not from the RECENT recording sessions. Nowhere does it directly or indirectly imply that they won't be on the album.
god I hope "they got nothin" gets bent off one way or another.
what a dud.

For the record, I was told by the source that the other songs on the CD were the standard album versions. Nothing was mentioned about any of the other songs other than 'Illicit Mantra' was the album title and that Callin' All would be the first single. Don't know whether to believe this or not, my natural instinct is not to (Noel was quoted a couple of weeks ago that he didn't have a title yet).

Callin' All would be the first single. The first two words of Lyla as the title of the new single?

Mono is referring to the DBTT demos. People seem to be having major difficulty in realizing that these are not demos for the new album. Callin' All would've been the tentative title for Lyla before they decided to go with that title.
