WOW...Pretty scary to see how much NME are reliable
" Three songs reportedly for Oasis' next album have leaked online "
"A forceful return from the Gallaghers " (OH YEAH..At least a 4 years return)
" Noel sings John Lennon-style vocals on this quieter number " (Ooooh I think i'm gonna be sick)
" Noel sings lead vocals over urgent acoustic strums, while a psychedelic guitar sound effect again adds a Doors-esque element to the intro " (see, I warned you I was gonna puke)
Anyway, I really enjoy the song I WANNA LIVE..

Ok, from the last time I checked those songs were from the DBTT sessions, but now even NME is reporting them as from the new album!?

yay for waiting for the release date to hear the songs for the first time! Right on, man. However, it's so fucking tempting to download them, though. But I must remain strong!

I was gonna resist too but then I figured these are offcuts from the DBTT sessions and it's doubtful if they're going to make it on to the new record so I went ahead and downloaded.
Record Machine is the only decent one to be honest so you're not missing out on much.

Hmm. I really don't think these are demos from the new album, it just doesn't seem right. Like, album leaks happen all the time, right, but it just... It doesn't seem that likely that these are demos from the current album.

When that is said, it's a fucking struggle not to download them now though. But the DBTT demos and LDSMD with Liam on vox made it a bit easier.

It seems pretty clear that these were from the DBTT sessions. The way Noel has talked about the new stuff as more focused on the grooves and psychedelic aspect of the new material doesn't fit with these recordings. They sound like they would have belonged on DBTT.
That said, I think they're great songs, but their production was very raw. I can't wait to hear the finished products, especially if Stop the Clocks ends up as mystical as Noel makes it out to be, and if Record Machine is as epic as has been suggested. Next album could be a classic.

I love Stop The Clocks and the other two are good and may grown on me.
I haven't had goosebumps from listening to an oasis song since MG came out. It wouldn't sound out of place on MG as it has a similar guitar sound and riff to CSN. It doesn't sound like the new stuff of late. It sounds like oasis being oasis not trying to reinvent themselves.
I think this is the real deal. I have been waiting for 10 years!!
I am actually excited about the new album now whereas before I was nervous it would be average like the last three..

record machine is awesome. If these are as old as DBTT plus we got Revolution Song sitting out there it makes me wonder what other gems Noel has hidden away somewhere safe and secure that we haven't heard yet. I wish we could get access to all his unreleased recordings

Umm
Stop The clocks is good but so slow, I agree it does sound like oasis with that guitar sound, The most oasis song Iv'e heard in a long while from oasis but far too slow and a little boring. On an album to slow down the tempo it would be OK, like CS.
I hate Record Machine, imo its dull, ponderous, plodding and very very boring. Sounds like a lot of stuff off the dreadful SOTSOG. Too much in the vein of STC. There can only be one of these slowies on the new album.
The other one is OK but a bit throw away and a B side at best.
Noel speed things up why such slow songs lately???
They show potential but I hope the album is not full of these plodding boring songs, please no.
I am a huge oasis fan, have every thing they have released but I know why I like oasis and this new stuff doesn't really do it for me.

I bet you're one of those people who everytime a new album comes out say things like "it failed to capture the energy and rawness of Definately Maybe" it's not 1994 anymore, Noel isn't 28 years old anymore. Times and people change.

Crap!!!
Record machine is a great song. STC is nice but not A-side material I think. It doesnt build up until the end. I really like the sort of "Bluesy Lennon/Elvis" style Liam is going for. (Nothing on me). I also like the full stings at the end of TUTS.
And about downloading new songs/albums. I download them all at once so I can hear the full thing in one time, and experience it in its full context. The only thing that differs is the moment in time I hear it the first time...
