Here's a question not many people have asked: Where did all this come from, the demos that is? Who's responsible for them and why were they released only now? WOuld be great to find out exactly how we came to get them, because I'm creaming my f'in pants listening to this stuff.

Don't bother asking. If the source wants to come out and talk that's his business, which is about as likely as Liam joining the Wu-Tang Clan. Just be thankful that the songs are in the wild and you got a chance to hear them.

What I wonder is if dear ole flomax leaked STC....if not he is probably crapping himself right now There is no doubt Lomax put out STC on his own. He did it on Stoptheclocks.org last night just minutes after the studio leaked and he's also put out an amplified version of the entire gig.

These aren't DIV demos, they're other demos from DBTT sessions, from a cd dated in January 2005. Lomax released the live version of STC shortly after the DBTT demos, including the STC, had leaked separately. They were not necessarily leaked by Rollince, although he was involved in their early distribution. So it depends what you deem 'leaking'. Also Lomax had always said he would release STC Zanzibar as soon as the song was released itself, and this was about as close as we'd get.

This was information put out erroneously. It is complete misinformation. This whole batch of songs, including the unreleased, are one of the first sessions they did with Sardy. This album was recorded at least 3 times. The fact is we don't know what they came up with, if anything with DIV. We do have some facts. Stop the Clocks was meant to be on DBTT. It was dropped late. The first published tracklisting from a reputable source had STC in at #9 on the tracklisting. Noel himself stated it was dropped late. Record Machine is a guess. It was never on early tracklistings and is likely just an outtake and its also not a demo, just a different version. STC is not a demo either. It's a finished version that was dropped from the album. Noel has stated numerous times there are multiple versions of it considering how many times its been worked on. This is a version. Meaning of Soul is also a huge clue. On one of the extra DVDs, its noted that Sardy was the one who got them to record TMOS using an acoustic based guitar rather than an electric. These songs, unless all of them are on the album, provide NO insight into the new album. Even if they are on the album, they will likely be very different. I would bet on only one at this time (Record Machine) being on it.

Lomax released the live version of STC shortly after the DBTT demos, including the STC, had leaked separately. Yeah, that's right. I did not leak the STC demo, even though the source of the leak gave it to me one day earlier. I actually had sent Monobrow a 15 second clip of the STC demo the night before, and was preparing to send him the whole song. But he wrote me back and told me not to bother because it had just leaked. Once somebody leaked the STC demo, I felt free to share the live version with you, because the song was already in the hands of the public, and that's what I had promised I would wait for. I honestly did not spend as much as you think on the song, and even if I had, I wouldn't regret it. I'm happy that we have this gig. To me, you can't put a price on it.

I got an e-mail, in which, the person claimed he had: "calling all, illicit mantra, boy with the blues, the roller, forever the people, what if there's a god, i'm all outta time"
Personally, I don't believe him. But we will see.
