MSG, NYC September 24 and 25. An EXTREMELY reliable source told me this would be the case. Not my fault if it is not true though. There should be about 20 American dates ending mid October.

No. Source is a concert promoter that tried to book them the 24th but was shot down because they claimed to be already booked. Upon further investigation, it turned out that another band wanted MSG but couldnt have it because of Oasis, so that band then went to this promoter for the 24th at his venue. All I have is this guys word, which has always been reliable. take it for what it's worth. Could be bullshit. Either way it is food for thought. I guess they are demanding so much money to play that smaller venues are out of the question unless each ticket is $200.

Oasis is well-known for announcing dates extremely late, much to the consternation of their fans. I would say that the MSG and other American dates (the Brazil site listed Staples Center and other big arenas) are probably not going to happen.
My guess is they'll go from Toronto to the UK for fall and winter. And then back to the States in the summer. Maybe South America in the winter. Who knows?
The alarming part of all this is Noel saying they are still trying to get a record deal. Wouldnt you think they'd have done that before the new album? Or maybe thats a reason for their "rockin" new record, to get record companies more interested. Who knows with these guys. I stopped trying to figure them out long ago. Expect the unexpected.

That's what I'm thinking after reading over Allison's article. They're supposed to play Rosemont Horizon in Chicago??? They haven't played there since 1998 and imho, I dont think they could get anywhere near to selling it out. Unless they are planning on doing some massive promotions over here, but that's highly doubtful.

I was wondering about that part too, they don't even have a record deal yet? Ridiculous.

I think what they are trying to do is shop around, they KNOW they will ge a record deal I mean they ARE Oasis, with an album in hand they will be able to play it for the company and see if the company will be able to do a proper job promoting it, unlike Sony who was too pre-occupied with all its crap artists. Also in my "theroy" they might trying to prevent a leak by keeping it close to there chests. plus you don't have to have a record deal to book a tour, you just need management company.

Why don't we just sit and wait for tour dates to be announced?
