Can we just stop!? Everything -- the whining, the taunting, the apologies, whatever just stop it all.
It's a song. That's all it is. We will all hear it in due time. If you're so desperate to hear an amazing Oasis song, just put on Live Forever or Slide Away. Most of you most likely listen to Oasis almost every day, I know I do.
Look, if Oasis were as shit as the likes of The Darkness, or whatever, then there's reason to excited about a potentially amazing song. But this is Oasis. Yeah, it's been 3 years since the new album and we all can't wait, but as most of us have already stated, DBTT hasn't even gotten old.
What with the 2 amazing albums (DM and WTS), the fun obnoxious BHN, the mature and still fresh DBTT, and the few quality tracks of SOTSOG and HC, coupled with some random new material with the likes of LDSMD and 'Weight on My Shoulders, added to the slow, but still steady pace of new information about the album and the boys, we have plenty to get us through the remaining 4 months or so
Starting in a couple weeks time, Mid May at the latest imo, we'll start getting significant information: A concrete release date, album title, track listing, interviews by the band, articles in Q and NME, tour dates, music critics reviews (hopefully positive) and finally the album itself.
There's SO much to look forward to, we have no reason to cling onto this STC drama like the desperate fools we have been
Truth is, Frank and all are striving off of this. Whether it's good, bad, or begging posts by us doesn't matter to him - he's getting attention, and that's all he wants (even this post isn't helping the cause I'm now advocating)
So here's a request: Webby, Mods - please lock all existing posts related to Frank, Bones, and STC drama. Hell, even lock this post if you feel the need to.
Over the last few weeks, I've seen us all at our lowest - and this includes me, especially initially when Webby announced he had a "surprise", until i was able to think about this more clearly.
What's more, I also have a request to fellow board members. Let's not treat Frank badly, no matter what he thinks. Sure, he may deserve it. But we're Oasis fans for fucks sake. If he shows there's more to his Oasis drive than this STC hysteria and he shows he's a true Oasis fan, then lets accept him. As the cliche goes, two wrongs don't make a right. Let's not sink down to his level, lets take the higher road instead and show why this forum and Oasis fans in general are the best around, as we have done for the previous several years.
So, for the sake of the forum, for the sake of making good impressions to newbies, for the sake of us all - let's end this needless drama with Frank and STC, locking such threads if need be.

Yeah, if you want to make a deal with Frank or whatever, take it to another forum... Frank, Bones, whoever else is going on with this shit, just take it to a different forum, or start posting like regular individuals. If you guys really want to stoop down that low to get the song, make it a personal quest, like Frank did, and maybe you could be kind enough to share it if you find it before a studio release... Hell, there's a chance it could be the first single... So I think we should take Headshrinker's idea and lock the topics and just let them die down and hopefully have us forget about this horrible month long period of constant fighting and whatnot. I mean, we're Oasis fans, it's supposed to be one big brotherhood of people who think they are better than everyone else  |

Frank, what does it matter to you anyway? If you truly want to be part of this forum in a serious way like the rest of us fans, but worried you're reputation is tarnished to much.....just create a new account under a new e-mail, and start over. Not that hard. If you don't want to be part of this forum, but rather want to cause more drama, then in the nicest form fuck off lol. Although, unless Webby bans you, no ones stopping you. (Goes for everyone else like Bones too, i'm not picking on you) This is the time period us Oasis fans crave - the time leading up to a new album. If you're a true Oasis fan, you'll embrace this time period too and realize stuff like the drama that's gone on in the past month is not needed. We have information coming our way from the boys themselves in coming weeks, we don't need to create our own news. We don't need to fake rumors. We don't need absurd forum tension. As you've stated, you all came to this forum from that other "exclusive" forum. If you want to fight, fight over there - not here. This is the last thread i'm posting in about this topic. As far as I'm concerned, it's now the mods and webby to act, if they so choose. I'm done with the drama and will ignore it from henceforth, and I hope my fellow memembers follow and ignore it to. |

*Note: I'm NOT criticizing Webby (never did, but he took it the wrong way last time i said something) or any of the mods, but i do what to express this point: I find it amazing Webby and/or the mods haven't done anything about this. Credit to Webby for dealing with the wanna-be hacker(s) and the IP spoofers creating fake stories. This current situation is just as bad, if not worse though.... Most of these current topics (INCLUDING THE THREAD I STARTED) doesn't even belong in the "Fact and Fiction", but rather the "Lounge" section. Secondly, all this is is constant fighting. It once involved us board members, but not anymore really. Now it's fighting from members of another forum who brought their problems here It's not slagging of for fun either, it's somewhat personal, childish taunts and Nothing productive has or will come out of this. Please, for those who have power step in and do something. I've been part of this forum for 3 years now, and i can safely say this is not what Oasis, being a fan of Oasis, or being a member of this board is about. Right. Good. Got everything out i wanted to say. Carry on....oh, wait, dont.....lol |

Live4evr I already said in a few of the other threads my feelings toward those threads I feel like they have nothing to do with the purpose of the Fact or Fiction board I've moved the thread with that member who made an offer for STC on the Flea Market I tried to encourage people to stop doing those threads If they don't like what happened (or if they support it) Fact and Fiction is not the place for that As far as I'm concerned I don't care about all those stories and I don't know who's right or wrong and I agree that the new album is coming up and there are more interesting things to discuss I've had to explain my views to some members who sent me PMs as well. So in the end I agree with you and I think that we should stop talking about Franck, his alter egos and those other "mafia" guys (at least in Oasis related boards) I also suggest that members who have problems with other members about provate trade do it through PM If they want to share what they have they can do it on Sound and Vision, if they want to buy or propose money there's the Flea Market Thanks for your imput Webby  |
