Not that it should surprise anyone here, but the Rolling Stoned managed to completely omit Oasis' upcoming 2008 release from their 65 album "Spring Preview" (yes, albums due for release well into the Fall are covered).
That's 65 albums, no mention of Oasis.
That said, I'm sure you'll be relieved to learn that (amongst other heavy hitting hit-makers) Ne-Yo, Motley Crue, Ashlee Simpson, Dr. Dog, Lil' Wayne, and ZZ Top all have LP's that will surely alter the popular music landscape.
Not that I really care, but this magazine just continues its downward spiral into the meaningless oblivion. With its insatiable appetite for musical drivel, its mindless bush/conservative hating propoganda, and its general skewing/misunderstanding of virtually every social issue known to man, it has become simultaneously un-nerving and humorous to scan... and you thought they were JUST a music magazine!

I would recommend that you do not waste any time with those fools over at rolling stone. If Oasis manages to stir up some buzz, you'd be sure to find rolling stone drooling all over them and sticking them on the cover again. My personal opinion is that the magazine has absolutely no integrity or continuity to their perspective. They jump all over what is hot right now and ignore everything else. It may be a sensible decision business wise but it truly alienates those who have a real passion for music. My two cents.

August/September is not in the Spring, therefore- not in the Spring preview. Rolling Stone magazine does suck, however...

when your favorite band's album doesn't have a release date yet, you may be overreacting.

Am I the only one here who doesn't buy any music paper? They're not very cheap and most of them aren't worth for the money.
