...and I was wondering if I was the only one that noticed this - is it just me, or are the guitars in the wrong channels? Noel's on the left, and Gem is on the right, which is the complete opposite of how it actually is, and so it feels a little odd.
But that aside, I had forgotten what an excellent album this is. Liam's on form (and the "who's idea was the phonebox?" thing is priceless).

Liam on Jools Holland 2000, that's really Liam on form to me. Familiar To Millions is just another 2000-ish show which isn't anything special tbh.

Familiar To Millions is class from start to finish. Liam's voice is spot on, especially Live Forever. Don't think that song's ever sounded better than it does there.
As for the guitars, they're only the wrong way around if you're facing the stage, not if you're actually on it.

Liam's voice is great in the show. But in Jools it was a lot better i think. But you can't beat those loud stadium guitars.

Yeah, it's a good show. Colossal versions of Supersonic and Live Forever. Step Out deserves a mention to.
It's not my favorite show from this era though, as I would rather have their gig from the Yokohama Arena as the live album from this era. This is the show they played D'you Know What I Mean?. I don't know why they stopped playing it, because that version is dead on! It's cool to hear them play D'you Know What I Mean? and Gas Panic! on the same show, because like Noel said, it's D'you Know What I Mean?'s bigger fatter brother (Well, it was something along the lines of that he said anyway).

IMO, it's pitty a bit that Familiar To Millions don't include more SOTSOG songs.

I listen to the F2M version far more than the original. It just sounds better all electric too me, which is funny cause I tend to like their acoustic stuff a little more

Wonderwall of this album is not from Wembley show, at least -part- of the voice is not from the above gig. The drums poor... poor since I knew Zak, 2000 and 2002 tour the worst of Alan. Anyway Liam is good, the mix is good, but Yokohama, Jools, Brussels are much better.

Alan's drumming is spot on on Gas Panic and the others And his drums sound full and the cymbals are crashing ( this could be the help an an offical recording too though )
