i don't know anything about the album yet and probably won't for a bit. the tour starts in august and encompasses all of north america not just canada. will the tour start in NA or will they play some gigs in the UK/Europe first?

This is so bad Im ready to vomit. August is the worst possible month this band could ever tour America. I'm getting married August 9th (but then again that all depends how many US Shows they're playing) and my job as a Golf Professional depends on one big tournament the third week in August. My career and marriage are on the line here... I'm praying to a god I dont believe in that it is September they play the Northeast! And if not, new career and new wife following the tour! Its more than a band, its a way of life.

I'm trying to be happy about this but August/September would be a really horrible time for a lot of people I know to be attending any gigs at all, let alone an Oasis show. That being said, I'll do whatever I have to do to be able to see them.

I'm so excited I'm bouncing off the walls. It's 2 years since the show at the ACC. I was afraid they weren't going to get over here until 2009, but the summer would be fantastic!!!!!

I'd say Oasis should hook up with the phonics and tour in Baltimore I am sure they will (not with the phonics thou) they always come to Columbia Bry did you see them at Merriwhether too in September and didn't tell me? I did, at least, because I grew up there ;D(drop me a line, I may be living in Baltimore this summer which would be conveinient if they do Virgin at Pimlico or we could do philly like last time

The Merriweather show was pretty sweet though I do wish Kasabian had played... I was staying in the hotel they were staying and has we walked up there was the tour bus, and as I was going back down stairs, the elevator opened and there was lead singer of Kasabian...lol typical me I froze and let the elevator pass lol Anyways everyone didn't realize how close Oasis was to not going on that night! Their equipment was lost some where in Virgina! and didn't get to the gig until 7pm that night! still that gig was awesome

I just thought they got wasted or something ;D They did "play" on My Generation if you recall. That was a great.

why can't they go a little south right in WI or IL, that would be way nicer! Well if they went south looking for Wisconsin they'd be hard pressed to find it. Jefe, if you're back in Baltimore we'll have to catch Virgin regardless of Oasis playing already went to the first two, might as well keep it up. And I was at Columbia, but I had no clue you had come down for it

The guys seemed to be in a better mood and more into it w/ the fans while Kasabian was there.

Have Oasis hit anywhere between Vancouver and Toronto before? I've been anxious to cross my home country at some point soon. This could be a good reason. No they haven't that's why I traveled to Toronto in 2002 to see them and to Vancouver in 2005. I'm from Edmonton so hopefully they come to Calgary and Edmonton so I can go to both without paying for air fare. Even though I might still fly to see them somewhere else as well. THis is going to be the best summer ever for me if this is true!
