Noel’s legendary Zanzibar concert on May 3, 2003 took place almost five years ago, and yet to this day no audio recording has ever surfaced. If given the opportunity as a fan to listen to 1 of the 4 songs other than “Stop the Clocks”, which song would you choose? As I am the only fan on the planet with this gig, I may be given permission from a higher-up to upload the winning song for the fans to hear.
1- Talk Tonight. (A great track as Noel says hello to everybody and introduces Gem and Terry. The bongo drums give the song a bit of a different feel.)
2- Wonderwall. (An awesome rendition similar to what Noel did on the radio in 2003. The ending is played with an amazing tone by Gem. After the song, Noel introduces “Stop the Clocks”.)
4- Don’t Look Back in Anger. (Noel talks with the crowd, when somebody requests “It’s a Crime”, and also speaks about a football match. A heartfelt rendition with great vocal tone changes.)
5- Married With Children. (Noel thanks The Bandits and the people of Liverpool, before dedicating the song to Digsy. A slower version, one of the best ever.)
This poll will run for 3 days here and on the Stop the Clocks forum, to see what your choice would be. The winning entry will be from the 2 polls combined.

I think it's extremely cool that you've really dedicated yourself into finding as much possible info on this gig, Frank. I enjoyed reading about the other tracks Noel played at Zanzibar that night. Obviously, Stop The Clocks is the one I really want to hear. I'm curious about Talk Tonight with the bongo drums though.

Okay, as I need to get all the votes possible, I posted the truth. I have this gig, but have not been given permission to post it as-of-yet. I cannot explain how or why until later, just please give me your entries.
Every song is unique for certain reasons... Talk Tonight has the bongos, Wonderwall has the "Stop the Clocks" intro and a few backwards guitar notes, Don't Look Back in Anger has great banter with the audience, and Married With Children is my favorite version ever of that song.

It's your birthday. What would you prefer?
a) Four presents, each one reminiscent of an item already in your possession? b) The one gift you thought you'd never get, no matter how many times you pestered for it?

So Stop The Clocks is included in the recording and you've heard it but you just can't talk about it?

All of the questions should be answered in the other thread I've posted. I'm going to drop out for a while, but remember that this poll is being combined with the one on the STC forum, and the totals will deliver the winning song. Hopefully it will be the same song for both polls.

Aren't those versions pretty similar to the STC tour that Noel did 'bout an year ago?
But if I had to choose I'd have to go with Wonderwall cos' you've that there's the Stop the Clocks intro!

What I mean is Noel introduces the song and you can hear the first acoustic guitar chord, much as Noel played it in Moscow. But you can also hear very briefly what Gem's backwards guitar sounds like.

Allow me to correct myself. As far as I know, I'm the only fan on the planet with this gig, at least this particular recording of it. Hopefully my publicity in doing this will bring forward another fan who has another recording, that would be great for everyone!
To answer your other question, this thread is a poll, the other thread holds the entire story of the gig and recording.

frank here is the deal. i have screen shots of three major oasis forums download sections. the soapbox, this place, and another which will be revealed at my choosing and my time. if the whole gig is not leaked this includes stop the clocks. the screen shots will be emailed to the riaa and all of these places will be shut down.
god bless.

Well then it's a no-win situation... if Stop the Clocks is leaked these places will be shut down also. At least your true colors have been revealed. I thought I made myself clear earlier-- I don't have Stop the Clocks, just the other four songs. So I guess there's no way I can upload it then, right?

Why would some place be shut down for a bootleg of a song that has never been officially released and isn't slated to be released EVER (at this moment)?

Anyone who thinks any place will be shut down by the release of an amateur recording of an unreleased song is an absolute buffoon. The fact is Noel himself has stated that he has no problem with bootlegs being shared on many occasions. No band or record label is going to vilify a huge segment of their fanbase by "going after" or "shutting down" a place because of an amateur recording. The whole hoarding of Stop the Clocks is just petty bullshit. Whats the difference between a place that deals with bootlegs (i.e. Dimeadozen) and them posting shows by bands who do material live well before the release is out or in some cases never released? This happens daily on tons of band message boards and they still exist and its been going on since MP3 was in vogue. This whole multiple post bullshit of propping yourself up etc. is just stupid. Personally, I don't really give a shit about hearing the 400th recording (audience at that) of songs that have been performed so many godforsaken times, and are on so many bootlegs its almost impossible to count. I already know that a recording of the gig exists as well. There's only one song that people want to hear from this gig. If you're not going to post it or dont even have it, or your "source" is being a bitch about sharing it, then just shut the fuck up about it. It's only going to get a lot of people riled up. Good for you that you have 4 audience recorded songs that most people are swimming in versions of. Its hardly a secret that the gig was recorded. It's been known since the day after the gig that it was.

Well then, I guess I should have put a fifth option in the poll.
Option 5: Stop the Clo.... cough, cough... I mean... (5) Get lost, we don't want any songs!
And I would hit the road with my songs, except there are some good fans on here that would be disappointed, so I'm gonna follow through.
