Not really one to post much around here so I don't know if i've posted this in the correct section, please move it if I haven't, anyway a few of you might know me from various forums/torrent sites most famously the old bootleg.org.uk (RIP)
Just after a bit of info about Oasis's apperance at Glastonbury 95, I know The Stone Roses was due to headline this on the main stage and when they pulled out (and split) then Oasis stepped in, was Oasis actually confirmed for another stage? Or was they not scheduled to appear at Glastonbury 95 at all?
I've had a browse around the tinternet but can't find any info at all, and was hoping someone on here might know,
Cheers, Howdo

Hello mate, I can help you out with this. I was there at Glastonbury 95. Oasis didn't step in for The Stone Roses. Oasis were booked to play the first night. The Stone Roses the second night and it was Simple Minds on the last night. When it was announced The Stone Roses were unable to perform, their replacement was the Sheffield band Pulp. Pulp were quite popular in 95 with the hit Common People. So the final line up of headliners was.... Oasis Pulp Simple Minds
