Their bouts of brotherly fisticuffs are legendary. But hard-knock Liam Gallagher had better think twice before squaring up to Noel in future - now that his big brother is armed and dangerous... We can sensationally reveal that 40-year-old Noel - supposedly one of the last true rock 'n' rollers - has been stocking up on guns in LA so that he can follow his country pursuits as a tweed-wearing toff. Noel, who is in LA recording the next Oasis album, is so excited about his new past-time, he has been texting his pal Tom Meighan - lead singer of Kasabian - to tell him all about it. A baffled Tom, 27, tells us: "He sent me a text about going shooting in America, and about how scared he was of shooting himself. "I've not heard from Noel in a while, so as soon as he's finished recording in LA it would be nice to meet up and find out what happened. He was going to get some guns and rifles I think. I can tell that alot of you have never shot off a gun before by your comments. Nothign wrong with having one. Nothing wrong with going off to a private shooting range and bustings some cans of lager. My dad took me shooting when I was 10/11yrs old. Its a cool feeling. Now to go walking around carrying a gun or fuckin going postal on someone thats just nutters.

Wasn't HC going to be called "Long time servant of the gun", and there was gun imagery in the Hindu Times video, maybe Noel is a secret member of the NRA. I know Americans hold the the right to bear arms sacred, but to many other nations this story would raise some mono brows. |

I hate how the media
a. makes every celebrity that buys a gun seem insane or
b. pulls a 180 and praises celebrities for their so called "individuality" for buying a gun or
c. can't understand how normal people grow up with guns and it's no big deal to them

I really still don't believe it , still he would have to mail them, no way he's getting on the plane with him...anyways how is it possible to bring guns back to England if they are banned?
Anyways I was thinking about it, Noel likes to tell stories don't you think he is going to make up something outrageous for the hell of it to mess with Tom Meginan ? its all getting out of hand...

The world's perception of gun laws in america are way way overexaggerated. I've never shot a real gun or seen one shot. I'm also not scared of getting shot. But the world has to be in a constant state of fear so people know what to hate and what to fear.
