I think that is a problem that we have to "get used" to his voice... I mean, I use to think that the taratata and the Buenos aires gig were good performances (cos I was use to his voice back them), but now that I just heard it sound dreadfull... and that's how it's gonna sound for anyone who never listened to oasis before... what bugs me is the fact that if Liam wanted he could solve his throats problems with singing classes or whatever, but he's just to stubborn to do it...

I think we've past that point. If Liam only had to sing once every week or 2, I think he could sound 2002ish. Problem is he's literally just beat the shit out of his throat. Between the constant smoking, drinking and touring for 14 years, I don't think singing lessons will fix the problem. Unfortunately I think the damage has been done...Let's just hope it doesn't get any worse

Let's wait and see what this year brings us first, shall we?
Yeah, Liam's voice obviously has been changing over time, but we really only started noticing it to this extent around the 2005 and DBTT time frame
It's been 3 years. For all we know, he could very well have made adjustments. Let's wait and see.
The plus said is that while Liam has gotten worse, Noel has gotten better -- both with the guitar and with his voice. Noel is now an amazing singer imo.

Noel is now an amazing singer imo. I agree Noel's voice has gotten better over time, but I thought his guitar playing was far more original in the 90's. His solos have become mostly just fills the past few albums which is really the only thing I genuinely miss about their music. As far as Liam's voice...I think he'll sound top notch on the record, but he sounded fine on the last one also. It's when he sings live that he has problems. His voice cracks in the studio, they do another take. His voice cracks in concert, he looks like shit ya know. I try to be optimistic about it but I gotta be real also. I thought having a year off before the Brits would make a difference but then he sounded like crap that night...So I really don't know what to think anymore. Like you said, let's just wait and see
