Anyone praying that Oasis don't make another 33rd minute track like "The Cage". Or do you think that they have some fun for the fan base.
Isn't just a novelty.
Would you like a hidden track?

I don't see why you would possibly NOT want it. If you don't like the song, don't leave the record on for a half hour after you listen to it. How could more music hurt? Even if there's a song you don't like in the middle of the album, skip to the next one. The more music the better.

The Cage wasnt 33 minutes long, the song itself is only like 4min or something. There was like 27 minutes of silence before the song actually came on.

I knew that, and I agree the more music the better, but why not just make the song track 13, instead of making you wait 27 minutes? You could argue that the silence was the intro to "The Cage"

Hidden tracks like the cage are so pointless. It basically infers that the song is so crap that it can't even count as "filler" as a regular song on an album
Yeah, you're right - a hidden track like The Cage doesn't hurt (especially since many music critics won't wait 30mins for a 4min tune and thus wont bash it in their review), but it definitely doesn't help either.
Utterly pointless

It is a bit annoying. I like to be able to see the timer finish at the last track on my cd player (04..03...02...01...00) because I'm sad.

it's very annoying. if there is a bonus track, it should be an actual track, not on the last one 30 minutes in.

I always figured it was there to fill up side 2 of the second record on the vinyl version of the album.

And if they please to have it as a hidden track, I don't understand why there must be 30 min silence. One or two minutes are enough, aren't they? But I would prefer to have it as actual track.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Cage, it's got a great vibe, bit of a western feel to it, and I give a listen regularly. The only problem is, when making, say, a playlist on your iTunes or whatever, Better Man always has to be stuck at the end, because if you want to stick it in the middle of 20 songs, at 10, you have to wait like half an hour to hear the next song. Or of course you could just fast forward to The Cage, but you know what I mean, it's just in the background when your doing something else, it drifts out to silence, and you just kinda forget that it's still going, and take no notice that there is the rest of the playlist waiting to be played. What I did was cut Better Man into two different songs, leaving out the 28 minutes of silence, in return for two seperate mp3s, but the real version's still there, for the novelty if I'm listening to the whole of Heathen Chemistry.

The more music, the better. Exactly. More music is always better.

No "U.S Producer, U.S Studio = Change in Oasis' sound?" is the worst thread ever, it's official. Everyone is so serious these days, it's just a topic of discussion. Some people agreed with me, and some did not, that's what an internet forum is for. It's better than "What's your favorite Oasis song?"....hold on....that's given me an idead for a thread. I have to go now, I have to go for my record for three worst threads in a row
