Noel re-worked "Let There Be Love", he might change the lyrics, and structure. I'm pretty sure we will hear that song somewhere. Maybe on a Noel Solo album.

I think if they work on that song a bit more, make Liam sing it, and back it up with an orchestra on it, it definitely have the potential to be truly magic. But, I wouldn't know whether it fits in on the new album. It is a bit more SOTSOG/HC style song. It will be interesting to see what the tracks future will be though.

Well, it's played in D and it's pretty much near the top end of Noel's range... it would be like Liam trying to sing Some Might Say. Edit- By that I mean Liam trying to sing Some Might Say these days... we all heard it on the HC Tour, it wasn't nice. 10 years ago Liam could sing this but not even in a studio these days.

Liams voice isn't all that fucked up: He still has moments where his voice shines. And I think they played Some Might Say in a lower key during the Heathen Chemistry tour. I have a few good versions of that song from the tour on bootlegs. So who knows, maybe that would work on Solve My Mystery to?

They could take it down a few keys but i just don't think it would be as 'epic' with Liam really... it'd be like him singing Don't Look Back In Anger to me..

It could be absolutely awesome, especially if they layered loads of strings on it. Done that way it would actually benefit from the sort of over-the-top production seen on Be Here Now and piss over pretty much everything on Don't Believe The Truth. It won't happen of course, but you're right, it could be amazing if done right. And that would mean Liam singing it. I reckon Noel chose the wrong song from the SOTSOG sessions to resurrect for the last album. Revolution Song could have been way better than Let There Be Love which personally I find a bit on the dull side.
