I have a son and he was born to an acoustic version of DLBIA Wonderwall was also played by the church organist at his christening! For my funeral, I want the Creation Undrugged version of Live Forever and The White Room version of Wonderwall played, and my girlfriend is under strict instructions that this is to happen, should anything happen to me!!

oh, and i bet you cant guess what i named my son, boywiththeshoes Let me guess... And that Creation Undrugged Live Forever, is that the Noel sung one at the Royal Albert Hall where a Scot says "I'm sorry Alan can't be here.....here is the future of rock n roll....Oasis!" or something like that??? I have that version on a bootleg "A year in the life"

Isn't it a tiny bit ironic to have Live Forever being played at your funeral?

I've thought about this before..I'd have Champagne Supernova for my funeral, and Slide Away for my wedding. Dunno about birth of my child, though. Oh, and I could have Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley for either of those things instead.

I've thought bout the funeral thing before, really quite morbid isn't it. Anyway i would have 3, DLBIA coz at the mo anyway i have no regrets, Lucky Man coz i feel i have been and think its such an awesome song and finally CS coz i think it's the greatest song ever.
Gazza
PS hope these aren't needed anytime within the next 50 years

I actually have thought about this quite a bit...but mostly just the funeral song (pretty morbid i know). I'd like to have Champagne Supernova at my funeral, and Wonderwall at my wedding cause I really think the lyrics are incredible..."There are many things that I would like to say to you but I don't know how" is so simple but so powerful. It's overplayed but still somewhat meaningful to me

I have that version on a bootleg "A year in the life" Yeah, that's the one the Scottish guy is Alan McGhee's uncle, as he was still getting over his illness and the quote was "Since Alan can't be here tonight, he's asked me to convey his best respects to you all and he says, his quote is......'they are the best reason to believe in rock n roll in 1994 - OASIS!!" and yeah, my son is called Noel i was going to make "Gallagher" his middle name, but then i thought it might be embarrassing for him in later life, so i didnt

You'd play FITB as your child was being born? :S Imagine that on the maternity ward, full blast "WE PUT THIS FESTIVAL ON YOU BASTARDS!!!!!....."It might bring some mothers into early labour ;D Still great walk on music, or great birth music.

Birth: Angel Child. Funeral: DLBIA. If I was dying I'd want to ruin that song for everyone.
