I'm using orbit downloader. it's fantastic and very easy. you just move the mouse over the vid, a "grab it" button appears and you download it.
it works with flash embedded videos too

www.mediaconverter.org is nice and simple if you are not much of a techie. Just follow the 5 easy steps and always save in wmv format

Does anyone know how to capture an mms file, it's a video file (WMV) from a radio station. I've tried using all the above but none seem to work, when I used mediaconvertor.org it downloaded the file okay but when it started converting it got to about half way then an error message came up. I think the file is too large as it says there is a 100mb limit so if anyone can help please it would be much appreciated. If you need the whole file name aswell let me know. thanks

Sorry for being such a newbie, but are these programs legal? same as filesharing programs like limewire, the programs themselves are legal, it's what you do with it that could be legal or illegal depending on what you download! |

So downloading Oasis live versions from youtube that does not have a copyright on them should be fine? But not official songs? Or is that to alright, as long as you don't make cds of them to sell? It comes from this site www.virginradio.co.uk/music/sessions/archive.html?s=1, there's some other pretty cool stuff on here aswell. thanks |

I'm downloading it now with orbit. you just copy the link, go to orbit and click on "file/ enter new URL to download" and it grabs it it will be faster if you d/l orbit and grab the vid yourself. it's 100Mb and it will be difficult for me to upload it. if you have problems let me know  |
