A friend of mine was surfing around the main page of oasisinet, the official site of Oasis, when he stumbled upon something extraordinary. He found the cover art and official press release which is to be given out next month about the new Oasis single. When my friend saw this, he quickly copy and pasted the information and captured the cover image. An hour later when he went back, the information was gone. I guess somebody who works for inet accidentally uploaded the information early, before it was the right time. The bottom line, is here is what you need to know:

‘Evil Eye’ is the first single taken from Oasis’ upcoming seventh studio album and is the follow up to the bands recent No. 10 download-only single ‘Lord Don't Slow Me Down’. Written by and sung by Liam Gallagher, the single is released on Big Brother Recordings on April 14th on CD, DVD and 7”. Across the formats the single will feature two brand new tracks – a Liam song, ‘Guess I'm Out of Time’ (produced and mixed by Dave Sardy) and the Andy penned, ‘A Gem Will Shine’ (produced and mixed by the band). The DVD single will feature the video, the ‘making of’ documentary, as well as album and demo versions of the single.
