bristol rovers v southampton at the Memorial Stadium is being broadcast live on bbc1
the famous gas will do southampton 1-0 and craig hinton will score the winner
the fact i sponsor his shirt and that he has scored in every round inc reply-apart from r4-has nothin to do with it
meeting him at end of season club dinner when he presents me with his signed shirt-"from the goal machine"

Man Utd and Chelsea getting knocked out is the best possible thing that could have happened to the competition.
Not only does it mean that whoever wins it (go on Barnsley - come on, they beat Liverpool *and* Chelsea) it will be massive for them, rather than just another cup for a big four team, but it also means that we are all spared a repeat of last season's final, possibly the worst Cup final in footballing history.
